Label management service - instructions for a warehouse employee
SML is a warehouse management service created for NP Shopping, which consists of two parts:
-
SML 1.0 is a warehouse management system that automates processes. The warehouse staff records information about parcels by adding labels (detailed description at https://docs.sml.npshopping.com).
-
SML 2.0 is a system for processing unregistered parcels in NP Shopping. If the customer fails to declare the parcel within 24 hours, the warehouse staff will complete the declaration on their own (for more details, see https://docs2.sml.npshopping.com).
SML 1.0
SML service version 1.0 is a service for processing unregistered NP Shopping shipments that arrive at foreign warehouses. SML is necessary for centralised control, storage, processing and analytics of unregistered parcels in a single environment.
Upon receipt of a parcel, the foreign warehouse must upload a photo of the label, thereby recording the fact of receiving the parcel. SML stores photo labels of unregistered parcels.
The purpose of SML 1.0 is to automatically create an unregistered parcel in the NP Shopping admin panel after uploading and recognising the label.
The created unregistered parcel is available for further processing:
- The customer can finalise the created parcel in 24 hours.
- Manual registration.
- Processing by the support service.
